Högfjället is also ideal for families with children who want to let their children run free among themselves, the area is not so big that there is a risk of them getting lost. Small scale, cosy and classic with Högfjällshotellet and its entertainments right next to the lift!
If you like wonderful long slopes with room for large turns and swerves, then Högfjället is perfect. The greatest vertical drop is 180 metres and the longest slope is 1.1 km. The slope join up in the middle of Högfjället, which makes it easy to stay close to your friends even if you ski at different paces.
Högfjället's ski system is connected to Lindvallen's ski system via transport lifts. It takes about 20 minutes to take the lift to Lindvallen. The two systems together form the Lindvallen/Högfjället ski area. It is a well-prepared and well-maintained ski area of 1.8 million square metres. When you buy a ski pass in Högfjället you get the whole of Lindvallen included in the price (the same applies when buying the pass in Lindvallen).

Children's areas
Högfjället has a large children's area that is easy for parents to monitor with easy slopes and easy button lifts. In the children´s area you will find Knattesvängen - an area with funny imaginative figures which makes the skiing even funnier. Read more about children's skiing.
The ravine
Free skiing area next to the descent and in a natural ravine.
Ski school
In Högfjället you will find a limited ski school area with a button lift and conveyor belt for the very smallest. The assembly point for children's group ski schools is by the Mården lift. The assembly point for young people, adult and snowboard groups and all private ski schools is outside Högfjällets Gästservice outside Högfjällshotellet towards the slopes.
