Ski boots in the right size
It's important that your foot fits the ski boot. If the boots are too tight, your feet get cold. If the boots are too big, the skis become unsteady and it is difficult to control them. Try the boots carefully. Don't forget that you can come back and change them if they turn out to be too big or too small!
A thin pair of socks is enough
If you wear a pair of thin socks, the air around the feet can circulate in the boots and the air insulates against the cold.
Let us set the binding
The binding's setting is important. The binding must be released at the right time in order to prevent any unnecessary injuries. Come and visit our ski hire outlets and we will be glad to help! If you know how to, you can set the bindings yourself. At the lifts' valley stations there are tool racks which you can use if you need to adjust something while you are on the slopes.
The helmet – the most important thing of all!
The size of the ski boots and the skis' bindings are important, but it is even more important to wear a helmet on your head. All children aged 7 or younger ski for free throughout the ski system if they wear a helmet. Don't forget that today's helmets are extremely comfortable and stylish! It's fashionable to wear a helmet.
Collect your pre-booked equipment the day before
In order to get as much effective time as possible on the slopes you can collect your pre-booked equipment from 3 pm the day before you start skiing.
