This means that you have more than four months to choose between when you book your winter holiday without needing to worry about whether there is any snow or not. The reason why we can offer such a long snow guarantee is our natural snow level at one of Sweden's snowiest mountains.
Improved snow guarantee for 2012–2013
Just before the 2012–2013 season gets underway, we are improving our snow guarantee for those who like to come early pre-season. We are now accepting cancellations and re-bookings from when we open our facilities through to the date the snow guarantee starts to apply. The usual conditions apply from the start date of the snow guarantee.
What does this mean?
If the Lindvallen, Högfjället, Tandådalen and Hundfjället resorts do not have a total of 15 pistes open, 10 for adults and 5 for children, when you come to us in Sälen, then you will be refunded the amount you paid us for your downhill skiing. In other words, ski passes, ski hire, ski school and cabin rent, including cancellation insurance. Information in the event that the snow guarantee is not fulfilled will appear on the website before your arrival. You then have the option of ending your stay and getting your money back up until 11 am the day after arrival. The snow guarantee is valid from 13 December to 21 April. The snow guarantee is valid at our resorts in Sälen: Lindvallen, Högfjället, Tandådalen and Hundfjället.
We are extending the conditions for even more snow
Here at Sälen we believe that if you have chosen to book your holiday with us then you wish and expect to experience a real winter holiday; this is why we put our energy and efforts into maximising the possibilities so we can offer you as good a product as only we can. We extend our snow systems every year and try to start the season as early as possible.
