You are financially responseible for rented equipment. Take out a comprehensive insurance that covers damage, theft and lost equipment.
Terms in short
- The insurance can only be taken out when renting or making a booking. The cover only applies to skis and snowboards (not to boots, helmets, poles etc.).
- The insurance covers theft or total loss, with an excess of
SEK/NOK 700 for adults. SEK/NOK 300 for young people.
- The equipment must be locked away overnight. Storage in roof boxes, vehicles etc. is not permitted.
- Stolen equipment must be reported to the ski rental facility and the police immediately. A copy of the police report must be presented when paying the excess.
- In cases of manifest negligence, or if the premium has not been paid, the full sale value will be debited.
