During the winter of 2011/12, the City Airline will fly from Gothenburg Landvetter Airport directly to Åre Östersund Airport. The first flight is 29 December 2011 and will be operated until 22 April 2012. Flights are suitable to a long weekend (thursday-sunday) or a week (sunday-sunday) in Åre, with flights on Thursdays and Sundays. The tour operates with City Airlines jets and comfortable ride takes about an hour and twenty minutes.
Of course you can book your ski carrier if you want to bring your own ski equipment.

Flights until 29 February 2012 are operating 3 times a week (Thursday, Friday and Sunday) and as of 1 March 2012 there will be 5 flights a week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday). The flight schedule enables to offer convenient transfer flights to/from Trondheim to/from Moscow, Saint Petersburg and Vilnius via Tallinn.

Nabotåget goes from Hell Station, two flights per day.
Connection train from Vaernes to Hell exists. The railway station in Vaernes is adjacent to the airport (about 500 meters). It takes a few minutes to travel between the station and Hell Vaernes station.
