Zip Line
60 meters above the ground, several hundred meters long with speeds of up to 70 km/h. Experience the hair raising feeling of Zipline. Zipline is a ropeway where you are strapped in on a harness, swishing above the beautiful nature of Åreskutan. With the sensation of flight.
The alps may be superior to Åre regarding skiing. But now, Åre has the largest Zipline park in Europe. The two first runs were opened the 30th of January 2007. And during the summer of 2007 the festivities continued with the opening of more lines. All with varying difficulties. Our longest run takes you on a more than 400 meters long adrenaline-chock over streams and ravines. This adventure is a must for all fans of thrills and fabulous nature.
Zipline is perhaps not meant for the coward. But you don’t need to be a daredevil to experience the feeling of flight. No matter if it’s the family or the company, Zipline is for everyone. Furthermore, Zipline is the first activity in Åre that is open all the year round. For short; we guarantee an adrenaline-chock. Summer and winter time.

On this course you need to be 15 years.
The lower course starts at Hotel Fjällgården and is open for everyone over 8 years of age. |
