Freestyle FIS World Cup 15-16 march
Åre Mogul Party 15-16 march 2013 will be one of the main events in Åre this season. In addition to the single and dual events with upcoming stars challenging the established racers, we will see the local Åre kids putting up a good show.
Even Åres first World Cup in Skicross is taking place this weekend!
Mogul is the sport that combines speed, ski technique and acrobatics during the most difficult conditions. This type of competition is that so neatly and quickly as possible to get down a steep steep hill covered with large bumps as bugs.
Moguls is part of the freestyle family.
The traditional freestyle sports were moguls, jumps and acroski (formerly skidballett).
In the World Cup riders from forty countries are competing.
The biggest moguls nations in terms of number of practitioners is the United States, Canada, France and Japan. Many of the top athletes of all time come from these countries.
The contest will take place in "Slalombacken" in the center of Åre and admission is free ..
