The villages
The destination Åre actually comprises three villages, Duved/Tegefjäll to the west, Åre in the middle and Åre Björnen. The ski lifts in Åre Björnen and Åre are connected as are Duved and Tegefjäll and the ski bus services the entire ski area.
The character of the villages differs and what may be ideal for a group of young singles may not be the first-hand choice for the families.
