Tips for kids equipment

If your feet hurt, nothing is fun. With the right equipment you can go far but here are some more hints that will probably make you and the kids even happier.

Right size boots
It is important to find a boot that fits. If the boot is too tight, the feet will be cold. If the boot is too big it will be difficult to control the skis.

Just a thin sock
A thin sock or stocking will allow the air to circulate around the foot and air is a good insulator.

Let us adjust the binding
The setting of the bindings is important since children frequently fall. The binding should be set to release at the right time. Do not attempt to set the bindings yourself but come to our ski rentals and we will happily do it.

The helmet – above all!
The size of the boots and settings of the bindings are important, but crucial for all children is a helmet. All kids under the age of 8 ski at no cost, all over the ski area, as long as they wear a helmet.
