Week 49 5-6 december Local Days "Get together weekend" for everyone
Week 50  11-14 december Snow, testing and partying in Åre Celebrate the Lucia weekend in Åre with 54 hours of skiing; the perfect start to the new season. Feel and test the new skis and snowboards and exert your thigh muscles. Come here for a weekend of skiing, fun, après-skiing and partying in the company of friends or family.  Read more about the event
Week 52 White Christmas in Santaland! Glittering white snow and whole days of skiing, followed by good food and cosy wood fires. Meet Santa in Åre. The week is packed with activities and competitions for the entire family.
January
Week 3, 4, 5 and 6 Familyweeks in Åre Björnen The family weeks will again be staged with a well-packed programme of activities and competitions (almost all of them free). Morning skiing for the parents and Kul-o- Bus breakfast for the children, the kids’ après-ski, torchlight processions withhot-dog BBQ and lots of other fun events. Upon arrival you will receive a book of reductions coupons –”Familjehäftet 2009” – containing various favourable offers from restaurants, activities’ organisers and others.. Week 3, 4 & 5 Studentkortet Skiweek Åre 2009 The students’ weeks in Åre! The greatest winter sport event for all students will be staged in Åre from Sunday to Thursday during the weeks 3, 4 and 5. Go skiing all day with the new friends you make and then party with them in the nightclubs.
Week 4, 5 and 6 - Weekends  WinterCamp in Duved  A great and fun training weekend for all youths. The local ski instructors will teach you new tricks and the right technique. After this weekend you can go on to impress your peers. After skiing we proceed to Holiday Club and LAB, to bowling, the waterpark, and minigolf. Read more about WinterCamp

Week 6 The RIX FM week Yet another year with the breakfast radio show MorronZoo on site, bringing the Swedish elite of artists to Åre. A week filled with fun races and activities. During RIX FM week in Åre you will be entertained on the slopes as well as at après-ski and in the nightclubs.

Week 13 and 14 Jon Olsson Super Sessions In Spring 2008 SkiStar Åre and Jon Olsson will arrange one of the most spectacular skievents of the winter in Åre.
Week 17 23-26 May  THE BEST WEEKEND OF THE YEAR in Åre with Freeride 2009 & Skutskjutet! Make the most of the last few days of skiing this season in Åre on Mount Åreskutan, made into a huge playground for all lovers of skiing. We will also stage MTB slopestyle competition at Åre Square with the best Swedish MTB riders; with Sessions, DJs, Après-ski, live acts, shows and more.
25 april Skutskjutet 2009 Take part in the world’s greatest downhill race for all the members of the family. Gather a team and run in the team class or another one of the 25 classes. The whole weekend is one long party with full action on the dance floors. We can promise an extraordinary festival with the largest après-ski presenting leading artists at Åre Square and shows also in the finish area in Ullådalen.
Week 18 30 april - 3 may The Grand Finale Weekend for the winter and start of the summer Skiing, bicykling, shopping and lots of happenings.
